Brian Boman


My name is Brian Boman. I am the Supervisor for Pierce County Animal Control. I have been an Animal Control Officer for 14 years, all for Pierce County. This is my third time being on the Board for WACA, I served on the Board from 2008-2012 and was nominated for the Board in Oct. of 2014. I am excited to once again be a part of WACA.

I was a police officer and deputy sheriff in the state of Oregon for approximately seven years.  I attended three police academies.  I was a humane investigator in the state of Oregon for approximately 2 ½ years.  I attended four animal cruelty investigation academies.  I have been an animal services officer with Thurston County since October 2005.  I attended a three week academy in March 2006.  I received my commission in March 2006.  I am an instructor for animal investigations.  I have investigated over 4,000 animal cruelty/neglect cases in the states of Oregon and Washington.

I feel privileged to have been elected to the Board and will serve as such with professionalism and dedication.


Jodi Page


I began my Animal Control career with Kitsap Humane Society in 2002 and have been with Pierce County since 2008. I am certified through Code 3 Associates and Colorado State University as an Animal Cruelty Investigator and Equine Abuse Investigator. I am also certified in Technical Large Animal Rescue and Chemical Capture. I share my small farm in Seabeck with my daughter, horses, goats, sheep, chickens, dogs, a parrot, and a tripod cat. I am honored to serve on your board and excited for the future of WACA.
